Comfortable Seafront Stay with Friendly Service

Guests appreciate the hotel's prime location on the promenade, friendly staff, and the daily entertainment, while noting that rooms are clean but somewhat dated. Food quality and variety receive mixed feedback, making it a good value option for visitors keen on easy access to local attractions.

Guests often praise

  • Friendly and helpful staff providing good guest service throughout the stay
  • Clean and comfortable rooms with pleasant sea views from some rooms
  • Daily evening entertainment including quizzes, bingo, and dancing

Rooms are in need of updating but nice and clean. Variety of food on offer and a cafe on site. Location is brilliant, on sea front and shops available just around the corner. Walking distance from rail station, tram, cable car, pier etc. Has nightly entertainment. What makes this place is the brilliant staff throughout.

Lovely clean hotel. The bedrooms are a bit old fashioned but clean, and have everything you need. Beautiful sea view from 2 large sash windows. The meals were ok but nothing to rave about, plenty of choice. Good entertainment in the evening, nice bar and a lovely little coffee shop with reasonable prices.

In a good position on the promenade, car parking at the rear. Food and choice reasonable but service a little slow. The evening entertainment was first class. The decoration in the communal areas was good but the guest rooms were dated and in need of updating particularly the bathrooms. The phone in our room didn't work and the shower couldn't be set on a steady temperature, but were cleaned every day. So all in all a reasonable place to stay.

I had a 4 Night Stay as part of a coach holiday with my Mother. The hotel is in a great location, nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room sadly didn't have a view but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was good, they certainly coped magnificently with the large numbers they were catering for. The food wasn't cordon bleu but it was great value and there was enough choice to keep anyone happy. No complaints at all.

Very nice place, single room was adequate. Nice clean and tidy. It was also very warm room. Didn't see any real ales at the bar but beers were at a reasonable price. Meals were good but a little on the small side. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay.

Lovely hotel, food good but a bit strange, some dishes without veg. Entertainment good. Drinks fair price but bitter was a bit rank on a couple of nights. Room 123 was nice although at the back. Shower compact. Hair and shower gel in a dispenser as was hand soap.
